I've started writing again (on my own this time), and i think i'm starting to understand why people like music so much when they do it.

So if you've got good music, send it (or recommend it) this way. I like all kinds, from punk to goth to country to folk to foreign to generation specific to the subgenres of the subgenres of the indie-whatever, i don't really have one preference over another (only roots in Jrock way back when). If you've got music that you really like, chances are that i might, too.

(Bonus points if the music involves boys in one way or another. Tadzio icon sends puppy eyes your way. XD)

EDIT: QUOTE OF THE DAY because it's just that great - Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello, Tchaikovsky....what do they all have in common? "I didn't know Tchaikovsky was a ninja turtle."

And uhm, on a last minute whim, Alex has wings. Questionable Reasoning: "Hm, don't they look all Death-in-Venice-y like. And initial_aitch was telling me how Tadzio kinda was like a little angel of death for Aschenbach, so awww Alex can be a little angel of death too. Which kinda works......in Yassen's case.......because....wait. THAT'S SO SAD." (Isn't it funny how torturing Alex = :D, but torturing Yassen = D:? I am ashamed.)


EDIT: And here's a blond Yassen. More like book!Yassen. Because over at yassen_alex you can never have too many Yassens.

✒ spy_fest's assignments are out. SO. EXCITED. Ahahhaaa. This is gonna be so much fun, all i can say.

For Alex Rider peoples, i've been watching a lot of abrandnewboom's really silly vids lately. (Okay, the first one isn't silly, but it is sweet.)

And if there are any White Collar fans out there, this vid by talitha78 got my mood to do a 180 from sucky to happy in under three minutes yesterday. Neal is a rock star.

School is FINALLY done. Woohoo. (But now i'm working as much as possible before we close for the holidays.)

Very, very excited for spy_fest.

Been watching a lot of Criminal Minds lately, which somehow makes me psyched about Alex Rider in the most obscure ways ("i wonder how Yassen would have placed those car bombs differently?"). But anyway, now every time i think of Wolf, i see Derek Morgan. It's kinda awesome.

Yassen/Alex comic.

I made a compromise and started writing about Alexander the Great (using the '04 movie, Alexander). And now i can't shut up about Aristotle (who was Alex the Great's teacher for a brief time). I need to get back on track. DAMNIT. PITFALLS. EVERYWHERE. :|

bellajayd and halcyon_age have put together a PDF file of Slipping Into Entropy, so that you can download and read the entire thing in one go (or even print it out if you like). There is a version with the corresponding doodles in it, as well as a text only version of the story. Feel free to download and read.
